Sarah & Niall

Some weddings strike the perfect balance between honouring tradition and celebrating in a way that feels uniquely “you.”
Sarah and Niall’s special day was just that. A beautiful blend of timeless elegance and vibrant, modern fun.

The day began at the very heart of tradition: a ceremony in the same Catholic church where both Sarah’s parents and grandparents exchanged their vows. The air was filled with a sense of history, connection, and love, as generations of family stories seemed to echo within the walls. Watching Sarah and Niall continue this legacy was truly heart warming—it’s rare to witness a tradition so deeply rooted in family history.

From there, the tone shifted to pure joy as we moved to their reception, where the couple’s personalities truly came to life. It was a day bursting with laughter, music, and the kind of fun that pulls everyone onto the dance floor (or into a lively game!). With a focus on making sure every guest was swept up in the celebration, Sarah and Niall created an atmosphere that felt warm, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Their wedding was a testament to how blending the old with the new can create something truly magical. It was such an honour to capture these moments for Sarah and Niall—a day where history met happiness in the most beautiful way.

Thank you, Sarah and Niall, for allowing me to document your incredible day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and as much fun as your wedding day had to offer… Isabelle xx

The People’s History Museum, A Wedding Full of Personality

Some weddings tell a story so rich with personality and meaning that they stay with you long after the last dance. Frances & Zak’s day at The People’s History Museum was one of those. A celebration that beautifully reflected who they are as a couple.

Their journey began at university, where they met as politics students. So, it was no surprise that their chosen venue, The People’s History Museum in Manchester, was not just a stunning space but also a perfect nod to their shared passion for politics and history. Even the little details echoed this theme: their wedding service was printed in the style of a newspaper, adding a creative and deeply personal touch that guests couldn’t stop talking about.
After the heartfelt ceremony, we ventured into Manchester’s city centre for portraits, capturing the urban vibrancy and iconic sights that mean so much to them. It was incredible to see how their love for the city shone through in every frame.

Transporting their guests to the evening reception was another stroke of genius. Zak, who works for Manchester Transport Council, organised an old-style orange bus that was the perfect mix of nostalgia and fun. It whisked everyone off to The Fairfield Social Club, a laid-back, industrial venue where the celebrations continued.

Every part of their day was carefully thought out and unmistakably them. From the venue choices to the music and the electric atmosphere. It was full of fun, joy, and genuine love—a day that perfectly captured Frances & Zak’s connection. Honestly, it was so much fun I wish I could have stayed to party with them into the night!

Frances & Zak, thank you for letting me be part of such a meaningful and joyful celebration. Your day reminded me why I love what I do—capturing stories that reflect not just love but personality and life.
Wishing you both endless happiness together… Isabelle xx
